BS 6004 6241Y 6242Y 6243Y Cable PVC Insulated And Sheathed Flat Twin And Earth Wire
Application
6241Y 6242Y 6243Y Cable is suitable for fixed installation in dry or damp premises on walls, boards or trays, in channels or embedded in plaster. They should be laid in conduit or trunking where mechanical protection is required. Widely used in lighting and domestic buildings. These cables are particularly suited for installation as meter tails and are used for fixed installation in the condition of dry or damp occasion.
These cables can be fixed with clip directly or by cable tray or embedded or in free air. They are not allowed to be laid underground.
