MV ABC Aerial Bundled Cable (IEC 60502)
Application
Medium Voltage aerial bundled cables are mainly used for secondary overhead lines on poles, clamped to tunnel walls or as feeders for homes.

Standard
IEC 60502-2---- Power cables with extruded insulation and their accessories for rated voltages from 1 kV (Um = 1,2 kV) up to 30 kV (Um = 36 kV) - Part 2: Cables for rated voltages from 6 kV (Um = 7,2 kV) up to 30 kV (Um = 36 kV).
Voltage
6.35/11Kv, 19/33kV
Construction
Phase Conductor | Class 2 Circular compacted stranded Aluminum |
Conductor Screen | Extruded semi-conductive layer |
Insulation | XLPE (Cross-linked polyethylene) |
Insulation Screen | Extruded semi-conductive layer |
Metallic Screen | Copper tape or wire mesh |
Separator | Semi-conductive swellable tape |
Outer Sheath | HDPE (High Density polyethylene) |
Support Conductor | wires made of Galvanized steel wires |
Construction
Self-Supporting System:
It is composed of four core hard drawn and twisted aluminum conductors with the same cross-sectional area, and the insulating layer is XLPE containing carbon, which can prevent ultraviolet light.

Color
Insulated core: Red, Yellow & Blue core marking tape
