Concentric Cable

These cables are used in power supplies with multiple Protective Multiple Earthing (PME) systems, where the combined Protective Earth (PE) and Neutral (N) - together called the PEN - connect the combined neutral and earth to the actual ground at multiple locations to reduce the risk of electric shock if the PEN is damaged.

Circular stranded hard-drawn copper phase conductor,XLPE insulation, bare ground conductor concentric arrangement. Polyethylene sheathed 600/1000v house service connection cable. The nylon ripcord is laid under the sheath. Manufactured according to SANS 1507-6.

This type of conductor can be used in dry and wet places, directly buried or outdoors; The maximum operating temperature is 90ºC and the operating voltage for all applications is 600 V.

Copper concentric cable is composed of one or two solid center conductors or soft copper stranded, using PVC or XLPE insulation, the outer conductor is composed of several soft copper wires stranded synthesis spiral, black outer sheath which can be made of PVC, thermoplastic polyethylene or XLPE.
