Medium voltage cables(MV) are manufactured using the Monosil process. We offer the highly specialized factories, leading research facilities and exacting quality control procedures necessary for the manufacture of PVC insulated cables up to 6KV and XLPE/EPR insulated cables for use at voltages up to 35 KV. Throughout the production process, all materials are kept under clean controlled conditions to ensure absolute homogeneity of the finished insulation material.

Suitable for energy networks such as power stations,distribution system etc. It usually used for installation in ducts, underground and outdoors.

IEC/BS Standard 3.8/6.6kV XLPE Insulated MV Middle Voltage Power Cable
3.8/6.6kV is a more common voltage rating compared to BS standards (Particularly BS6622 and BS7835 specifications), where applications can benefit from the mechanical protection provided by their aluminium wire or steel wire armoured (depending on single core or three core configurations). The cables would be well suitable for fixed installations and providing power to heavy-duty static equipment because its rigid construction limits the bending radius.
IEC/BS Standard 6.35/11kV XLPE Insulated MV Middle Voltage Power Cable
Electric cable with copper conductors, semi conductive conductor screen, XLPE/PE insulation, semi conductive insulation screen, copper tape metallic screen of each core, PVC bedding, galvanized steel wires armoured (SWA) and PVC outer sheath. Suitable for energy networks where mechanical stresses is expected. Suitable for underground installation or ducts installation.
IEC/BS Standard 6-10kV-XLPE Insulated MV Middle Voltage Power Cable
Suitable for energy networks such as power stations, distribution system etc. Suitable for installation in pipes, underground and outdoors.
Aluminum wire armor (AWA) for single-core cables and steel wire armor (SWA) for multi-core cables provide strong mechanical protection, making these 11kV cables suitable for direct burial underground. These armored medium voltage power cables usually have copper conductors, but aluminum conductors are also available according to the requirements of the same standards. Copper conductors are stranded (Class 2), while aluminum conductors meet standards for use of stranded wire and solid (Class 1) construction.
IEC/BS Standard 8.7/15kV XLPE Insulated MV Middle Voltage Power Cable
15kV is the voltage usually specified for equipment cables (including ruggedized mining equipment cables manufactured to IEC 60502-2), but is also relevant for British Standard armored cables. While mining cables may have a strong rubber sheath to provide abrasion resistance, particularly for towing applications, the BS6622 and BS7835 standard cables are sheathed in PVC or LSZH material and mechanically protected by a layer of steel wire armoured.

Suitable for energy networks such as power stations,distribution system etc. Used for installation in ducts, underground and outdoors.
The cables manufactured to BS6622 and BS7835 are generally supplied with Copper conductors with Class 2 rigid stranding. Single core cables have aluminium wire armoured (AWA) to prevent induced current in the armoured, whilst the multi-core cables have steel wire armoured (SWA) providing the mechanical protection. These are round wires with over 90% coverage.
Note: Red outer sheath can be prone to fading when exposed to UV rays.
IEC/BS Standard 18-30kV-XLPE Insulated MV Middle Voltage Power Cable
The single core cables are designed for distribution of electrical power with nominal voltage Uo/U ranging from 3.8/6.6KV to 19/33KV and the frequency is 50Hz. They are mainly suitable for installation in power supply stations, indoors and in ducts, outdoors, underground and in water as well as for installation on cable trays for industries, switchboards and power stations.
